Dr. Verma drives our vision – leveraging medical expertise and breakthrough technologies to revolutionize an industry in need. Dr. Verma’s extensive background in radiology combined with a passion for better workflows and solutions to improve patient care while lowering costs all started with a medical degree from the University of Miami. Dr. Verma served as a Chief Resident at the University of Chicago and then completed an MRI fellowship at the University of California San Diego. He is currently licensed to practice in all 50 states. Dr. Verma has a strong track record of entrepreneurship and enjoys the challenge of bringing new ideas to market.
With over twenty-five years of strategic, operational and corporate management experience within high-growth healthcare tech companies, Claude leads the commercial side of the business including finance & administration, sales & marketing, and client operations. Prior to joining the team, Claude managed the U.S. Sales Operations for Qualcomm Life, the healthcare division for Qualcomm Corporation. He also served as President of the PMB Real Estate Services division of Ventas REIT and as EVP / Board Member of Baxa Corporation, a global medical device company later acquired by Baxter International. He’s also held roles at Pyxis, Dura Pharmaceuticals, and Eli Lily. Claude holds a BS in Finance from San Diego State University, and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Holding multiple patents in medical informatics and imaging, Chris brings unparalleled technology development and organization skills to NucleusHealth. A sought-after speaker on emerging image platforms, Chris is the primary architect behind our streaming technology for viewing medical images at lightning speed using any modern web browser. Prior to NucleusHealth, Chris served as CTO for OnPoint Medical Diagnostics, Chief Architect at Vital Images, Director of Engineering at Stentor and other leadership roles for many breakthrough technology firms. He has an engineering degree from California State University, Chico.
Grant is a developer with a long history of developing award winning medical imaging software solutions. At NucleusHealth, Grant leads the Information Technology team responsible for the day to day operations of the NucleusHealth portfolio products. Additionally, he oversees the DevOps team responsible for systems automation and deployment within Microsoft Azure.
Grant holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. Previously he worked at Vital Images, a Toshiba Medical Imaging Company, where he led the enterprise information management and security team.
Dr. Schoellerman brings more than 10 years of hands-on, cutting-edge teleradiology and management experience to NucleusHealth. Manal’s leadership and drive for excellence have been integral to developing StatRad’s reputation as an outstanding provider of quality medical imaging interpretation.
Dr. Schoellerman is credited with building and managing a team of top-notch radiologists, overseeing and optimizing daily operations, and developing a quality control program that ensures the highest standards of patient care. Dr. Schoellerman received her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of California Irvine where she served as Chief Resident, and was recognized as “Outstanding Resident.” Dr. Schoellerman completed her MRI Fellowship at the University of California San Diego.
With over twenty years of engineering leadership experience solely in the healthcare informatics domain, Chris leads the engineering team. Prior to joining NucleusHealth, he worked for IDX Systems Corporation, Dynamic Imaging, GE Healthcare and UPMC Enterprises in a variety of leadership positions in engineering management as well as product and program management. He has extensive experience in the healthcare industry and has led the development and launch of multiple new products within the medical imaging informatics domain. Chris has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Mike drives strategic marketing and manages corporate alliances for NucleusHealth. Along with a tireless spirit, he brings over 20 years of medical technology and healthcare experience to the team. He is an expert in building cohesive organizations that are invaluable to developing and launching complex products and solutions. Prior to NucleusHealth, Mike led technical product marketing within Medtronic’s Interventional Lung Solutions Group, earning their coveted ‘Product Marketer of the Year’ in 2015. Prior to Medtronic, Mike held various leadership positions within medical device and technology firms including roles at Beckman Coulter and Smiths Medical. Mike earned his BA in Human Physiology and MBA in Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
Mr. Roth is an experienced corporate attorney with over 15 years of expertise serving as General Counsel to public and private companies in the high-tech, healthcare, medical device, nutraceutical, and biotechnology industries – and very familiar with operating in highly regulated industries.
Vincent recently completed a Master of Laws in IP at the University of San Diego with honors. He received a Master of Laws in Business and Corporate Law from the University of San Diego, as well as aa JD/ MBA from Temple University. Additional degrees include a Masters in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and a BBA in Marketing and Human Resources from Temple University.
An experienced finance, accounting, and administrative leader with strong analytical skills and an excellent record of driving operational improvement, Rand oversees all financial aspects of our growth and operations. Prior to NucleusHealth, Rand was Director of Finance for Optum360, a leading provider of health care management services after leading A-Life Medical through its acquisition by the subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. He was also the senior financial executive at iMetrikus, Inc., a health care technology and medical device start-up that focused on remote health care monitoring for patients with chronic conditions. Rand earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
Dr. Rascovsky brings deep understanding of medical imaging data protocols, image and signal processing, teleradiology, and more to NucleusHealth. Receiving his MD and subspecialty in Radiology in Colombia and subsequent studies in biomedical engineering at the University of Alabama, Simon was Director of Research at the Instituto de Alta Tecnología Médica de Antioquia and was tasked with consolidating advanced imaging research techniques, and transitioning them into clinically viable services. Simon’s scientific rigor and experience in medical imaging informatics, enterprise radiology workflows, business analytics, quality improvement, and machine classification has helped him develop many applications used around the world today.
Dr. Raffy drives our machine learning strategy and implementation as well as development for our next-gen diagnostic workstation. Dr. Raffy is passionate about machine learning and predictive analytics solutions and helped develop the first CAD system for the automated detection of lung nodules and pulmonary emboli. He also developed and validated predictive treatment models to improve patient selection in lung volume reduction therapies for those with severe COPD.
Dr. Raffy holds a Masters and PhD. in Electrical Engineering, with a specialty in image processing and machine learning. For over 15 years, Dr. Raffy has been leading software engineering, clinical development and data science for companies such as VIDA Diagnostics, Vital Images (now Toshiba Medical Systems/Canon) and R2 Technology (now Hologic and MeVis Medical Solutions). He holds 14 patents, has co-authored 60 peer-reviewed publications and is the recipient of multiple awards.
